This is a World War II era U.S. Army BC-611 Walkie Talkie (also known as the SCR-536). The device is a handheld radio transceiver housed in a green aluminum body. It operates on a single channel in the 3.5 to 6 MHz range using amplitude modulation. The radio was developed by Galvin Manufacturing, which later became Motorola. Item appears functional, but it untested.
