painted all over in distressed grey with gilded highlights, the moulded cornice above a frieze centred by a bouquet cartouche with scrolling foliate detail, over a pair of panelled doors enclosing a clothes rail and hooks, decorated throughout with scrolling foliate and acanthus detail, raised on chamfered legs

Condition Report:

With general wear throughout. Paintwork with significant fading and loss throughout. The frame with various losses, abrasions and cracks throughout. Particulalry notable/severe cracks to doors. With one clothes rail and a spare. Door hinges are slightly loose and would benefit from tightening. Upper internal latch does not work properly. With key and working lock. The wood is probably pine. The key appears to be jammed in the door but functions nonetheless. Joints are solid and the piece is structurally stable overall.
