Description
An exceptional offering of original turn-of-the-century advertising ephemera from the National Phonograph Co. of Orange, New Jersey, featuring a double-sided trade card and a multi-page promotional booklet titled "Edison Phonographs." Both pieces showcase classic early 1900s typography, a portrait of Thomas A. Edison, his iconic trademark signature, and a listing of international offices spanning from New York to Berlin. The booklet is particularly desirable as its internal text is dated October1907 (Form No. 1135). Physically, both paper items are complete and remain in good condition with minimal wear; however, the double-sided trade card displays paper loss along the right edge of the portrait oval alongside a few creases, while the booklet shows light edge and corner wear consistent with age. H 6 1/8", W 3.5", D 0.1". Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
