Description
Hand-painted milk glass shade with fruit motif. Brass trimming.Brass hanging frame. Still uses kerosene/oil for lighting lamp. This decorative lamp was popular from 1880-1910s and were reproduced in the 60-80s. This lamp seems to be an original early years lamp complete with German lead Crystals, which were prized for their clarity and sparkle. These are more collectible and desireable than ordinary glass prisms.
