A dove by Ruby Meaders, dated March 1999. Ruby, daughter of Cheever Meaders and Ari Meaders, was the sister of Lanier Meaders, John Meaders, Reggie Meaders, and Edwin Meaders, making her part of one of North Georgia’s most important pottery families. This is believed to be one of the first dove forms Ruby ever produced, adding special significance for collectors. Featuring a beautiful smooth glaze and excellent overall character, this is a meaningful early example of Ruby’s work. Signed.
