1960s Folk Art Americana Barbershop Carved Wood Bust of a Man

Description

This 1960s folk art carving of a mustachioed man with a pompadour was used as a counter top display in a Detroit barber shop. It is signed on the surface of the base, and dated. It is 13"H.

Imperfections: Some Imperfections
Condition Notes: There is a stable crack to the back of the head which is a natural result of drying wood. Part of the figure's ear has been lost. There are scuffs and scratches throughout, as shown.
