This Petite Louis XVI Bergere once was part of a high end children sitting room in France.
The fully upholstered French armchair with closed sides, and a separate seat cushion,
has all the hallmark features of a true Bergere. These 18th to 20th century pieces, often
crafted in the Louis XV or Louis XVI style, offer elegant and comfortable seating for
a child or petit person.
This chair has been restored and newly re-upholstered in a high end fabric.
The seat cushion is filled with down.
