This decorative box showcases the intricate cloisonné technique, featuring vibrant floral decoration with lush pink peonies and delicate green foliage set against a turquoise ground. The fine metal wires create compartments, which are expertly filled with colored enamel and then fired to achieve its lustrous finish. The interior of both the box and its fitted lid are finished with a solid, contrasting green enamel. The base bears a 'MADE IN CHINA' stamp along with partially legible Chinese characters
