This splendid and large piece speaks by itself , present a rich and opulent renaissance architectural decor with niches presenting saints probably Apostles , the decor is very sophisticated showing colonnes and volutes embroidered with gold threads and silk on a purple silk velvet , the figures are embroidered in silk as well . This kind of work is typically from the late 15 hundreds to early 16 hundreds , we believe probably Italian /Venetian.
