This original ink sketch by prominent Romanian-born artist Dimitrie Berea depicts an interior scene, likely a cafe or restaurant, featuring a seated figure and architectural details like railings and an archway, with a seated female figure and a man looking in at her through the window.

The sketch is signed and identified by the artist as having been drawn in Brussels in 1951. As shown in the photos, the left side of the drawing does have some discoloration likely from having come into contact with some of the artist's other works in his studio.
