This is sketch by Romanian-born artist Dimitrie Berea of a young woman by a window overlooking the sea in Cannes France dates 1964. The sketch is prepared in ink and hand colored with bright blue, red and green markers. The sketch is remarkable as it presents a detailed drawing of the woman's face with only limited details as to her dress or the curtains or view out the window behind her. The sketch is signed by the artist and notes the location in which it was drawn — Cannes in the south of France.
