Gorgeous piece.
Solid quartersawn oak featuring an original pale blue crushed velvet upholstered seat and back insert.
The top crest rail features a deeply hand-carved "Green Man" motif or "North Wind" face representing nature, rebirth or folklore.
Cabriole front legs and tapered back legs.
All original, sturdy still today.
