Charming, diminutive collapsible table/task lamp model "Mobilette M-77B" made in Japan, ca. 1960s for Mobilite Inc. of New York. Composed of a faux-wood slatted plastic brown shade, chromed metal stem, and black plastic base.
The lamp not only collapses down into a small pyramid, but can also be adjusted in a variety of configurations by means of a telescoping stem and swivel shade.
There is a chrome base support that can fold in when not in use, or extend out for wall mounting / sconce use.
Two illumination settings: "hi" and "lo."
