Description

Marcello Fantoni Italian Ceramic Sage Mid-Century. This is not his typical work, but a rarity from the 1950s-1960s. A Chinese sage as recognizable as the Buddha and popular in the mid-twentieth century. Modeled in a large expressionist style and expressionist color palette. The Chinese sage is definitely Italian now. The measurements are 8" tall and 2" by 2" overall. Signed and with a glyph on the bottom.
