Vintage modern art by famous Princeton artist Thomas George, titled The Cave. Enormous in scale and powerful in its simplicity, having a limited color palette of black, brown, gold and grey. The effect of the painterly surface suggests rock formations.

Thomas George (1918-2014) was an internationally recognized artist whose work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the National Gallery of American Art, the Tate Gallery, and many other museums and major collections in the United States and abroad.

We have access to the estate of the remaining works by this incredible talent.
