This lovely leather box present is ornate on top with a miniature painting showing a charming landscape with boats and is very well executed , it is sign on the side , but hard to read , anyway the quality speaks by itself , the leather has a rich red coloring with gilding like on books binding , the miniature is surrounded by brass ornament , all this gives a very elegant touch to the box , inside is finish with a silk textile .We have not taken the painting out in order to see on what the painting is , but it would make sense that it might be celluloid. Size 6" L on 4.5 " And 2" H
