Wood carved fragment of 17th century Lydia and the Swan myth. Zeus has shifted form to sweep up the swooning Lydia. created in a northern European folk art form. Now mounted as remains on a sculptural mount steel shaft in calf and thigh to hold support pin in base. The figure is removable. The size is 16.6" tall and mounted on a base 3.5" by 4.25" wide.
