A very rare and important gilt and silvered bronze wine cooler.

Modeled with two, Russian polar bears at the handles and with a young gunmen holding a rifle seated with a sea otter.

The design and construction of this piece led us to assume this could be made in Russia by a master bronzier.

Please note this piece is unsigned. Possibly made by Pavel Sazikov, in the 1860's.
