LOBSTER COVERED DISH, opaque white/milk glass with original paint decoration, elaborate detail. Fourth quarter 19th century. 3 1/8" H, 3 1/2" x 8 5/8".

From the collection of George and Helen Storey, Cornwall, PA (retains collection label).

Condition

Very good condition, with the cover having shallow chips and roughness to the inner flange; the base having a small spall to the underside, and a flake and shallow chip to the rim.
