Enormous lot of correspondence signed by Darges, all sent to his comrade in the Waffen-SS, Walter Ott, an officer and veteran of the 17. SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Division 'Gotz von Berlichingen', later a leader of the soldier's camaraderie group of that SS division. Included in the grouping is one signed photograph, two postcards, 14 A.L.S.s, and six T.L.S.s, most on his letterhead and written in the 1970s and 1980s. The majority of the content concerns Darges' request for photographs of himself to resend to collectors and friends, images probably in Ott's files, etc. Occasionally, however, he mentions Hitler, Keitel, the Berghof, war criminal and SS leader Walter Reder, and others.
