Good lot of two of Third Reich visor cap eagle badges, includes: 1936-pattern NSDAP political visor cap eagle, approx. 2.5 x 1.25 in., die-stamped from nickel silver and with a silver-wash finish. The reverse is RZM-marked ‘M1/72’ for maker Fritz Zimmerman of Stuttgart, and is fitted with three flat-wire attachment prongs affixed to the badge with soldered oval plates. Shows expected wear and minute scratches to the finish at the extremities, with the attachment pins bent to suggest removal from a piece of headgear, otherwise in very good condition. WITH: ‘Nationalsozialistiche Kyffhauserbund’ veteran’s organization visor cap eagle, approx. 2.5 x 1 in., of die-stamped zinc construction. The reverse is fitted with three round-wire attachment prongs, and is marked ‘Ges. Gesch’. Shows expected slight wear and discoloration, with the attachment pins bent to suggest removal from a piece of headgear, otherwise in very good condition. Two pieces.
