A scarce carte de visite, 2.25 x 3.75 in. sepia, featuring a chest-up illustration of Confederate guerrilla leader WILLIAM C. QUANTRILL (1837-1865) in civilian clothing. The verso bears the backstamp of E. & H. T. Anthony of New York. The corners have been trimmed, and the verso shows a pencil identifying inscription, otherwise in very good condition overall.
