GRATEFUL DEAD CREW-ISSUE NYLON BRIEFCASE

Description

Rare 1993 nylon zippered briefcase issued by the Grateful Dead only to touring road crew members and perhaps other very close associates. The black heavy duty case features a large central zippered compartment with a smaller such compartment fitted to the front of the bag. The front of the bag bears a 4 x 6 in. embroidered image of the band's logo for their Spring, 1993 tour mainly based on a skull/jester jack in the box, while the back of the back bears the large embroidered logo of 'Varilite', developers of computer-driven concert lighting extensively used by the Dead. Maker label from High Sierra. An old Northwest Airlines carry-on address tag, details worn but probably owned by lighting crew member 'Amy' as is the other Dead bag offered in this sale. Very good.
