bound with metal and wooden fixtures, the hinged lid enclosing a void interior and painted storage compartment area, with twin handles, marked 'ALDECOA' or 'ALDE-COA'

Condition Report:

General wear, commensurate with age and use. Some small losses, abrasions and distress to leather. With small losses and chips to wood. Leather lock straps missing. No keys present. Hinges in good order. One painted internal compartment is slightly loose. Chest is structurally stable overall.
