STS-67 commemorative cover autographed by four members of the mission crew: William G. Gregory, John M. Grunsfeld, Wendy B. Lawrence, and Tamara E. Jernigan. Postmarked at NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas, on March 2, 1995, the cover commemorates STS-67, the second ASTRO observatory mission flown aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour. During the 16-day mission, the crew operated the ASTRO-2 ultraviolet telescope observatory, conducting around-the-clock astronomical observations of stars, galaxies, quasars, and other celestial objects. At the time, STS-67 established a new U.S. record for the longest Space Shuttle mission.
