Charles Lindbergh autographed registered air mail envelope flown and canceled on September 25, 1929, during the inaugural FAM 6 extension flight from Dutch Guiana (now Suriname) to Miami. Piloting a Sikorsky S-38 flying boat, Lindbergh was joined by Pan American Airways President Juan Trippe and his wife for this historic journey. The cover is postmarked with four clear cancellations on the front and four additional cancels on the verso, documenting its movement through the postal system. It is boldly signed by Lindbergh on the reverse, with no added date—consistent with his practice of dating autographs only when signing after an event.
