American Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) reunion program signed on an interior page by nineteen veterans of the legendary Flying Tigers. Produced for the American Volunteer Group reunion held in Dallas, Texas, December 5–9, 1996, the program bears signatures from many of the organization’s surviving members, representing one of the most celebrated volunteer air units of the Second World War. Signatures include: Dick Rossi, Robert M. Smith, Rich Richardson, Frank Losonsky, Charles Baisden, Joe Rosbert, Ed Stiles, William Musgrove, P. J. Greene, Joseph Poshefko, George Bailey, Irving Gove, Robert Raine, Morgan Vaux, Ed Fobes, Robert Keeton (“Bas” Keeton), Bob Layher, Frank Andersen, and Erik Shilling.
The colorful program features dramatic Flying Tigers artwork to the front cover and commemorates the reunion of veterans who served with the American Volunteer Group in China during 1941–1942.

The American Volunteer Group (AVG), better known as the Flying Tigers, was organized under the command of Claire Lee Chennault and served in China before the United States formally entered the Second World War. Flying Curtiss P-40 Warhawks with their iconic shark-mouth nose art, the volunteer pilots and ground crews earned an extraordinary combat record while defending Chinese cities and supply routes against Japanese forces.
