Du Pont, Commanding the Great Naval Expedition, together with a dramatic engraving titled “Attack Upon the Camp of the Sixth Regiment New York Volunteers (Wilson’s Zouaves), on Santa Rosa Island, October 9, 1861.” The issue also includes articles titled “Captain Du Pont” and “The Fight on Santa Rosa Island,” along with additional Civil War news and illustrations.
Fair condition. Fully loose at the spine with all pages separated. Light overall toning with scattered edge wear, small chips, and short tears along the margins, consistent with age and handling.
