Thge cachet is titled “New President and Vice President Take Office” and includes images of The White House and a seated elephant, brief bio details of Reagan and Bush flank the elephant image. The cover has 3 1959 4c American flag stamps and a 1950 3c National Capital Sesquicentennial-US Capitol stamp. It has been postmarked in Milton, Massachusetts (President Bush’s birthplace) on Jan. 20, 1981 with an “Inauguration Day” cancelation.
