Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. The group includes invitations and seating cards for White House state dinners and luncheons, official menus, correspondence cards, mailing envelopes, a White House souvenir pass, and a program from President Richard Nixon’s 1969 state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. Also included is a Franklin D. Roosevelt-era White House invitation. Many of the Johnson-era pieces are addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Clark M. Clifford, former U.S. Secretary of Defense under President Lyndon B. Johnson, documenting their attendance at official White House functions. Additional items include White House place cards, table assignments, and presidential social stationery bearing the embossed presidential seal.
In overall very good condition with expected age toning, light handling wear, and scattered creasing consistent with age and use.
