This M1 Garand Rifle was made by Springfield Armory and dates to January 1945 by serial number. It features a guarded blade front sight on a 24" SA marked barrel dated 1-45. Trigger group, barrel, bolt, trigger, and cut op rod all marked SA for Springfield. The receiver is fitted with an adjustable rear sight with locking bar. It is also fitted with a 3 piece wood stock with metal buttplate and stores the cleaning brush/tool and an oiler tube with pull string cleaner for the barrel. VERY GOOD - Bore is shiny with visible rifling. Stock has dings and scratches, and chipped areas on the front handguard. Mechanics are very good. ME2, TE 2.
