Manufactured by Marlin Firearms Co between 1889 and 1903. Features a 24" round barrel with a Marble's style folding adjustable tang peep sight and globe front, missing original rear sight. Lever action with "MARLIN SAFETY" stamped receiver and full barrel length magazine tube. Cartridge is not marked however the muzzle measures for the rare .25-20. Cody research, has no records to confirm this was original, and of the only 34 produced in the caliber, they were all deluxe stocked. Fitted with a smooth walnut straight stock and matching forearm. Capped with a factory "MFA Co" hard rubber butt plate. LOP: 13". CALIBER/GA: 25-20. S/N: 164101. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
Condition
FAIR - Finish has turned to a gray-brown patina with clear coat applied. Wood shows several dings and scratches. Bore is dark with some visible rifling. Good mechanics.
