This model 1890 pump action rifle was made in 1915 by Winchester Repeating Arms Co. and is chambered in .22 Long. It features a 23 1/2" octagon barrel with blade style front sight and notch rear sight. It is fitted with a tube fed magazine with wood forend/grip. The barrel is marked with the 2 line Winchester address and ".22 LONG". The upper tang shows the Winchester trademark and lower tang marked with a serial number non matching to the receiver. Added to this rifle is a custom rear stock with metal butt plate and the engraving of a bison on the left side and a horse on the right. Original stock is included with visible cracks on the wrist.
