Manufactured by Winchester in 1888. This rifle has been refinished in an eye-catching nickel and gold tone plating. Features a 20" carbine length barrel with the two-line Winchester address barely visible. Factory correct rear ladder notch sight and blade front of the barrel ring. Gold tone plated side plates, side loading gate, trigger, hammer, saddle ring and barrel rings. Full barrel length magazine tube chambered for .44-40 WIN cartridges. Fitted with a walnut carbine stock and matching forearm. Capped with a nickel plated carbine butt plate. LOP: 12-1/2". CALIBER/GA: 44-40. S/N: 268733B. FFL STATUS: Antique.

Condition
GOOD - A few small areas of refinish loss. Wood shows dings and scratches. Dark bore with visible rifling. Mechanics are tight with a light trigger pull.
