Manufactured by Savage Arms in 1961. Features a blued 22" round tapered Hi-Pressure Steel Proof Tested barrel with semi-buckhorn rear adjustable sight and blade with brass bead front. Blued solid frame receiver, drilled and tapped for scope mounts and diamond cut bolt. Lever action with internal magazine, tang mounted safety, brass cartridge counter, gold washed trigger and case-hardened lever. Chambered for .300 Savage cartridges. Fitted with a walnut pistol grip stock and matching forearm with checkered grip areas. Equipped with swivel sling rings, front is a barrel clip ring. GOOD - shows light finish loss in the high areas. Frosted bore with very visible rifling. Light dings in the furniture. Great mechanics. Overall in great condition for its age!
