Made by Mauser at the Waffenfabrik factory for use by German Troops as an alternative to the PO8 Luger. Chambered for the 7.63 Mauser round. This pistol features a 5-1/2" round steel barrel with standard front integral blade sight and rear notch sight graduated 50 to 1000. Top barrel flat is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF/N" with the proof examination proof mark following, and also on the charging handle. Bottom of barrel is stamped vertically with importer "CAI" and "763 GERMANY". Semi-automatic action with internal magazine and small loop hammer. Fitted with period correct ribbed wood grips. Backstrap is cut for a shoulder stock and has attached lanyard ring. CALIBER/GA: 7.63x25. S/N: 633252. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.

Condition
FAIR - Finish has turned to a brown-gray patina and shows some light pitting. Grips are not flush fit. Dark bore with visible rifling. Good mechanics.
