This Tip Up model rifle was made by J. Steven Co. between 1870 and 1895. It measures as a .25 caliber, but caliber is not marked on the barrel. It features a 26" round/octagon barrel with a dovetail blade front sight and dovetail notch rear sight. Barrel is marked with one line address behind the rear sight and the break action release button is on the left of the receiver. Upper tang is fitted with an adjustable flip up rear peep sight. Walnut stock is fitted with a steel curved butt plate. LOP: 12 1/2". CALIBER/GA: .25 Cal. S/N: 11053. FFL STATUS: Antique.
