Description
This Springfield model 1884 was made in 1888 and is chambered in .45-70. It features a blade front sight and Buffington rear sight on a 32 1/2" barrel. On the rear of the barrel is a faint "VP" Eagle cartouche with "P" stamp. The walnut stock stores the cleaning rod and the upper barrel band is fitted with the sling and stacking swivel. Right side locking plate has the faded "US Springfield" with Eagle crest. Rear of the stock is fitted with a steel buttplate. LOP: 13 1/2". CALIBER/GA: .45-70. S/N: 393428. FFL STATUS: Antique.

GOOD - Mechanics are good. Bore has visible rifling and some frost.
