This bird effigy ceremonial rattle is likely of the Pacific Northwest tribes. Wood carved bird with colorful painted areas. Wood was split into two pieces in the median at the point of make to add in the noise makers, most commonly used "coyote seeds". Measures approximately 12" in length and 4" wide.
