This Type 30 bayonet was made by Hikari Seiki Seisakusho Arsenal as it is marked with the Kokura arsenal mark with the "hourglass" marking and has the serial number marked on the pommel. Also included with this bayonet is a metal scabbard fitted into a leather frog. The bayonet features a 15" blade and measures 20" overall. The blade has a blued finish and the scabbard has partially turned to a brown patina. These bayonets were made to be used on the Japanese Type 30, Type 38, and Type 99 rifles.

Condition
GOOD - Blade shows only faint scratches and retains blued finish. Handle shows wear and shipping on wood and oxidation spots on pommel. Brass on frog shows green corrosion and leather is soft.
