A Frank Sinatra Signed Program A 4 pp premiere program for The Sullivans (aka The Fighting Sullivans), (Twentieth Century Fox, 1944), Grauman's Chinese Theatre, February 23, 1944, signed 'Frank Sinatra', 'George Murphy' and what appears to be 'Mickey Rooney' to the front and signed 'Jane Withers' on the verso. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. Footnotes: Steven Spielberg's film, Saving Private Ryan (1998) was in part inspired by the story of The Fighting Sullivans, the story of a family who loses all five of their sons to war. A star-studded premiere was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on February 23, 1944, to benefit the Naval Aid Auxiliary, which was a non-profit women's volunteer organization of which many leading ladies were members. One lucky fan was able to get Sinatra's signature at this glamorous event. Lot to be sold without reserve.
