A Pair of Country Queen Anne Rush Seat Side Chairs, Hudson Valley of New York, Circa 1760's
Attributed to the Hudson Valley area of New York State. Circa 1750-1780's
Queen Anne chairs, with pad feet, and cut splats. Rush seats. Most likely made from Maple woods.
One chair is slightly taller than the other.
Size: 20 3/4" wide, 16" deep, 39" tall, and a 17" seat height.
Condition: refinished. The rush seats are replacements, probably same age as the finished surface. Use and wear marks from age. Chair frames are a little loose from shrinkage, completely normal with 18th century chairs.
