A refined set of 11 Limoges porcelain dessert plates, made in France by L. Bernardaud & Co. and retailed by the celebrated Paris house Le Vase Étrusque. Each 7.5-inch plate is decorated with a green floral spray at the center "” a full blossom with trailing foliage and scattered leaf-and-bud sprigs across the well and rim "” heightened with touches of gold and finished with a gilded scalloped edge. The molded body carries a basketweave-textured border beneath the rim, giving the plates a quiet dimensionality.

The monochrome green palette against bright white Limoges porcelain reads as both classic and surprisingly fresh, equally at home in a traditional or more contemporary table setting. Lovely for dessert, salad, or a first course.

The reverse bears the green B & Co. Limoges France factory mark together with the black retailer's inscription "Modèle créé par Le Vase Étrusque, Paris, et exécuté par L. Bernardaud & Co., Limoges," with a painted pattern number.
