Condition
Overall, very good condition. The paint layer is stable with no signs of losses or lifting. While the stretcher is likely original, the canvas exhibits a fairly modern wax-resin lining. UV blacklight examination reveals perhaps a few minor scattered retouches. Otherwise, the colors are vibrant, and the painting surface is smooth. The ornate carved gilt wood frame shows some scattered areas of retouching, regilding, and repairs, none readily noticeable. A very attractive room ready painting.
