TWO FINE SILVER AND ENAMEL BOXES. Comprising two very fine silver and enamel rectangular boxes, the hinged lid of the larger example with fine enamel-painted dance scene and the sides with light blue translucent enamel over a wavy guilloche ground. The interior brightly gilded, stamped .925 and with indistinguishable control marks. Length 3.75 inches (9.5cm). The hinged lid of the other box with complex enamel-painted scene of an organ recital, perhaps depicting Beethoven, the body overall chased in basketweave. The rim stamped .925 S.F. and STERLING. Length 3.25 inches (8cm).
