Description

Argus (Ann Arbor, Michigan) C3 35mm rangefinder camera, popularly known as "The Brick." The camera is constructed of Bakelite and metal with chrome-finished trim and a black textured body covering. It features a 50mm f/3.5 Argus Coated Cintar lens and a behind-the-lens leaf shutter with speeds ranging from 1/10 to 1/300 second plus bulb. The camera face bears the "argus" logo in lowercase script. Includes a two-piece brown leather ever-ready case with adjustable neck strap and embossed brand logo, alongside a vintage instruction manual titled "Here is your Argus C3.".
