Condition Report:
Please note that in the printed and digital page-turner catalogue image, a small section of grey blanket is visible at the front of the cabinet; this relates to the photographic setup and is not damage to the cabinet itself.
Overall the cabinet is in good structural condition but with noticeable cosmetic faults to the surfaces and inlaid decoration. Some warping, bowing and splinters to the back of the base. Small losses to inlay and banding, and some pieces lifting. Split to the base. Some wear and rubbing to ebonised finish in places. Scuffs and wear to the feet. Old woodworm present but nothing that appears active. Backboards to the upper section replaced.
