Frank Albert Rinehart (American, 1861-1928). Gelatin silver print photograph titled "Mounted Squaws - Crows" depicting a five Native American figures on horse back amid a mountainous Western landscape. Photographed during the late-19th to early-20th century, printed from a glass negative in 1971. Signed and titled in negative along the lower left quadrant.
Provenance: Purchased from the Wyoming State Archives & Historical Department; Private Collection, New York; thence by descent, Private Collection, Virginia.
