Description
This is a rare brown celluloid cylinder with cardboard core that is believed to be a transition cylinder when the newly formed Indestructible Record Co. was launched from the assets of the bankrupt Lambert Co. of Chicago in 1906. It is clearly stamped in ink INDESTRUCTIBLE PHONO RECORD CO. CHICAGO and PAT'S 108 PEND'G. The Indestructible Record Co. would be headquartered in Albany New York. In VG condition, comes with generic box with no lid. H 4.5", W 2.25", D 2.25". Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
