Rare illustrated white place mat, 9.5" x 12.5," from "The Window Shop" restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts, featuring hand-drawn doodles sketched in black ink by musician Bob Dylan. The entire paper includes over 10 illustrations by Dylan, including a pair of eyes, a cat with a human face, and more. In very good condition, with some signs of scattered wear, including some staining and toning around the edges, some tears near the outer margins, and a larger tear at the upper left corner. This place mat was obtained by a friend of Joan Baez while Dylan and Baez visited the Window Shop together. This was recently after Dylan's infamous "electric Dylan" event, in which he was booed off-stage at the Newport Folk Festival when he was seen emerging with an electric guitar. A one-of-a-kind remnant of America's beloved singer-songwriter during one of his most controversial moments.
